The benefits administration company SHPS Inc. formed Carewise Health in 2003 to develop health and wellness programs. Carewise Health became a driving force in the new area of wellness and care management a diversified group of innovative customers.
In December 2013, Carewise Health was acquired by a small group of healthcare investors. These investors also controlled separate entities that independently provide health benefit consulting to major employers and “big data” predictive analytics to employers, major health plans, government and providers. The three separate entities have synergized various technologies, products and solutions for specific customers seeking the most innovative and comprehensive offerings related to Clinical Care Management and Payment Integrity.
Carewise Health will continue to deploy the most advanced technologies and clinicians in support of customer’s progressive health benefit objectives.
